The Role: Senior Sales Executive
We’re hiring a permanent, full-time Sales Executive in Saskatoon, SK to own and grow our commercial relationships. You’ll inherit an established book of business and be responsible for expanding it. You’ll be deepening existing accounts and opening new ones across the food and beverage manufacturing space.
This role reports directly to the CEO.
The Type of Person This Role Is Made For
You’re a seasoned seller who gets energy from both sides of the job: protecting and growing the accounts you already have, and going out to win new ones. You’re coachable, curious, and commercially sharp. You know the difference between being busy and being effective.
You’re comfortable with technology. You’ve either used artificial intelligence (AI) tools to make yourself faster or you’re hungry to. You’d rather let software handle the admin so you can focus on the conversation.
You want to work with people who are going somewhere, and you want to prove you belong at the table.
What You’ll Actually Do
With our new ERP coming online and automations streamlining repetitive admin work, this team member gets to spend their time where it matters: in front of customers, building relationships, and closing deals.
Grow the existing book
- Own the primary relationship with our current customers: be the trusted point of contact they rely on.
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities across our expanding product line.
- Lead contract renewals and commercial negotiations to protect margin and grow volume.
- Run regular business reviews with key accounts, using data to show customers the value they’re getting.
Build the new book
- Prospect and open new accounts in food and beverage manufacturing, ingredient distribution, and adjacent channels.
- Run a disciplined pipeline from lead to close across outbound outreach, discovery, samples, trials, and contracts.
- Tailor solutions consultatively. Our customers are solving real product and supply chain problems; your job is to translate our capabilities into their language.
- Represent InfraReady at trade shows, industry events, and customer sites. You’ll partner with Marketing on event strategy and follow-up.
Work with the rest of the business
- Partner with Operations and R&D to bring new products to market and quote realistically on what we can deliver.
- Feed customer intelligence back into product and production planning.
- Partner with Marketing on lead generation and campaigns: help shape target lists, work outbound plays, and convert marketing-generated leads into pipeline.
- Contribute to marketing content and storytelling: customer case studies, testimonials, and product proof points that help the team tell our story.
- Feed voice-of-customer insight into marketing: win/loss themes, competitive intel, and messaging that actually resonates with buyers.
- Use our CRM and new ERP to keep forecasts, pipeline, and customer data accurate and current.
- Lean into AI tools that we’re rolling out to automate prospecting research, outreach drafting, meeting prep, and follow-up.

Must-Have Traits
- Proven track record in B2B sales. Ideally with experience in food ingredients, CPG manufacturing, or a comparable industrial / technical product category.
- Comfort managing both account retention and new business development in the same quarter.
- Strong negotiation, discovery, and closing skills.
- Organized, data-literate, and disciplined with a pipeline.
- Technology-confident: CRM, ERP, and a genuine willingness to use AI tools in your workflow.
- Willing and able to travel to customers and industry events.
- The right candidate must demonstrate an eagerness to learn, be highly organized, feel excitement for technology, and have a will to win.
Nice to Have
- Experience selling grains, pulses, or specialty food ingredients.
- Familiarity with food safety / quality standards (BRC, HACCP, etc.).
- Experience operating inside an ERP rollout or CRM implementation.
